The bond between cricket star Virat Kohli and his wife actor Anushka Sharma is well-known. The duo has expressed their love for each other on several occasions, and during a recent event, the chemistry between the couple was highlighted. Anushka Sharma tried her hand at sledging Virat Kohli and also imitated the reaction of Virat Kohli after the fall of a wicket. In the end, Virat Kohli also surprised Anushka by delivering a popular dialogue from her film.
“Aaj 24th April hai, aaj toh run bana le Kohli (Today April 24, at least score runs today, Kohli),” Anushka Sharma said while attempting to sledge Virat Kohli, but the batter came with perfect comeback and said “Jitni tumhari puri team ne April, May, June, July mein run nahi banaye hai utne match hai mere. (I have more matches than all of your team’s combined scores in April, May, June and July),” Virat Kohli said evoking a huge cheer from the crowd.
During the conversation, Anushka Sharma also imitated the pumped-up action of Virat Kohli when he celebrates the fall of a wicket. Virat Kohli jokingly said that the celebration is very momentary and please don’t run it again and again to embarrass me.
When the moderator asked Virat Kohli about his best innings, the player again joked that it was the previous one where he scored 0. The response evoked huge laughter from the audience.
When Anushka Sharma spoke her dialogue from popular film ‘Band Baja Baraat’ Virat Kohli took some time to think and then responded with the dialogue of the hero (Ranveer Singh). The answer left Anushka Sharma stunned and she just hugged the player. Anushka Sharma said that she feels like somebody has proposed to her.
