On Saturday, fans witnessed a vintage Mohammad Kaif as he pulled off two brilliant catches in the ongoing Legends League Eliminator match between Asia Lions and India Maharajas. To take the first catch, Kaif dived in the air and ended up taking a one-handed stunner and dismissed Upul Tharanga in the 8th over of innings bowled by Pragyan Ojha. Kaif grabbed the second catch while diving forward towards the long-off region and sent Mohammad Hafeez back to the pavilion in the 16th over of Pravin Tambe of Asia Lions’ innings.
Talking about the match, Tharanga starred with the bat with 50 runs alongside Hafeez and Asghar Afghan who made 38 and 34 respectively, and helped Lions put up a huge total of 191 runs. Binny and Pragyan Ojha scalped two wickets each for India Maharajas.
