Ye kaha dark hai ye toh zindagi hai meme originated from a line said by Indian standup comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath in the stand-up comedy competition show Comicstaan.
The meme went viral in the third week of July 2018, after the series premiere and three following episodes dropped on 13 July 2018 on Amazon Prime Video.
